2021 Mixing and Stockpiling ASBC / Cold Mix Material 1. Mix Aggregate Des 2-16 mm with Asphalt HF 500M to produce and stockpile 44,000 tonnes of Asphalt Stabilized Base (ASB)/Cold Mix in the MD Yard. 2. Mix Aggregate Des 1-12.5 mm Aggregate with Asphalt MC 250 to produce and stockpile 2,500 tonnes of ASB / Cold Mix in the MD Yard. The Municipal District of Bonnyville (M.D.) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and to waive irregularities, informalities and non-compliance at its discretion. The M.D. reserves the right to award a tender other than the lowest tender without stating reasons and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the M.D. may consider any other factor(s) beside price, capability to perform the work and proposed specifications, in its sole and unfettered discretion. By submitting the Tender, the Bidder waives any right to claim, in any proceedings or court action, for loss of anticipated profit or for any other damages including the cost incurred in preparation and submission of this tender. The bid bond accompanying the Tender, in the amount of 10% of the total Tender amount and made out to the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87, must be signed and sealed in the space provided, by both the Bidder or his authorized representative, and the Bonding Company. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond for 50% of the Contract Value and a Labor and Material Bond for 50% of the Contract Value within 15 days of award of the tender. Failing to do so may result in tender being awarded to the next compliant bidder and the bid bond deposit will be forfeited.
