Closed solicitation has been included below. ............... 2021 Bond - Park Infrastructure Development on the Former I-195 land $400 Million bonds will appear on the ballot as seven questions: Question 2, would allow for the borrowing of $74 million for environmental and recreation projects including: $4,000,000 for park infrastructure development on the former I-195 land in Providence. The nearly 7-acre park spans both sides of the Providence River and is connected by a pedestrian bridge that opened in 2019. Funds will be used to construct park infrastructure to enhance utilities, support park operations and programming, and enable food and beverage service. Through this Request for Proposal, the I-195 Redevelopment District Commission, is seeking development proposals for Parcel 2 of the Providence Innovation and Design District.
