As of July 22, 2021 this project has been awarded to a contractor. The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Metal roof overlay on south sloped roof section with associated flashing and gutters. The City-County Council, General Ordinance 21,2016, IC 4-13.6-4-2.5(d), and IC8-23-10-0.5(d) add new requirements for bids on public works projects. Pursuant to IC-4-13-18-5, the Bidder must submit with the Bid a written plan for a program to test the Bidder's employees for drugs. Project Range: <$50,000 Quoters shall assure that they have obtained complete sets of drawings and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in Quotes prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of drawings and Contract Documents. This Work will be funded by the City of Indianapolis. The participation goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) for this contract is fifteen percent (15%). The participation goal for Women Business Enterprise (WBE) for this contract is eight percent (8%). The participation goal for Veteran's Business Enterprise (VBE) for this contract is three percent (3%). The participation goal for DisabilityOwned Business Enterprise (DOBE) for this contract is one percent (1%) All Quoters will be subject to the MBE/WBE/VBE/DOBE Business Utilization Plan ("Utilization Plan") of the City of Indianapolis. In evaluating a Quoter's responsibility the City will consider the Quoter's Affirmative Action Plan. The Affirmative Action Plan for any firm as it related to its construction must as a specific goal call for the recruitment of new employees from the Marion County population and that ten percent (10%) of the skilled new employees and twenty-five percent (25%) of the unskilled new employees come from the Marion County minority population.
