The Centennial Park playground has a concrete surface that previously had a poured in place surface. The extended 2019 flood ruined the surface. The Parks Department removed the surface, leaving the concrete base in place. The playground surfacing currently is a very heavy layer of certified Fibar mulch over the concrete. The Parks Department will remove the mulch prior to the successful contractor installation crew arrival. Scope of services include: - Installation of a minimum 2 1/2 inches of poured in place surface, exact depth is to be determined by the contractor based on industry standards for critical fall height demands - Exact square footage to be determined by contractor - 50% red/50% black color - Pricing should include freight - Any trash removal and site security are the contractor's responsibility - Warranty should be noted - Include line item pricing for any sub-base repairs if needed
