Site work and paving for a civil project in Rapid City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.

The Project consists of water main, water services, valves, meter pits, hydrants, and related work. Included in this project but not limited to is traffic control, erosion control, seeding, pavement removal, and related work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and consists of all labor, skill and materials required to properly construct the Project. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Forms provided and in accordance with the Bidding Documents. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed at Rapid Valley Sanitary District - Water Service in Rapid City South Dakota. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bank draft drawn on a State or National Bank for five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to Rapid Valley Sanitary District - Water Service or in lieu thereof, a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to Rapid Valley Sanitary District - Water Service, as a guarantee of the bidder entering into a Contract with Rapid Valley Sanitary District - Water Service for the Crane & Carlin Water Main Extension Project. The checks of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned within thirty (30) days after the bids have been opened. All Bidders shall have a valid South Dakota Contractor's license of the appropriate Class for the work, as required by ARSD 20:53:06 or SDCL 36-25. No Bid will be read or considered unless it fully complies with the Bond requirements. Any deficient Bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner. The Contractor shall be able to demonstrate that he has successfully completed municipal utility work of a similar nature and scope as that required for the project. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
