As of May 21, 2021. the project has been awarded with the amount of $1,013,709.65. The project includes approximately: 15,300 SY of full-depth reconstruction 2540 SY of select base repair 1,785 tons of total wearing course 4,000 SY of Cold in Place Recycling 12 ADA curb ramps Other related work on various streets. A ten percent (10%) bid security must accompany each sealed proposal. The successful bidder will be required to place a 100% performance bond, 100% payment bond, and a 100% maintenance bond with the Township within ten (10) days of Notice of Intent to Award. Wages paid for all Work performed shall comply with the Pennsylvania Minimum Prevailing Wage Act as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Proposed Bidders shall be PennDOT Prequalified per Publication 408, Section 102.01. The Township of Spring reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids or portions thereof, to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the TOWN- SHIP OF SPRING at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. The Township also reserves its right (at its sole discretion) to waive any informality in the Bid, and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid. All Work contained within the contract shall be completed in full within one hundred (100) calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall apply to the contract for Work not completed in full within the specified time period.
