Site work for a water / sewer project in Port St Joe, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 29, 2021, this project is on hold. If a Contractors total bid is $200,000 or more, Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, The project includes the construction of an approximately 1,320 SY, 6" thick concrete slab with an 18" perimeter footer located at the Eastern Shipbuilding Yard located at 432 Howard Road in Port St. Joe, FL. Completion date for this project will be 30 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be $500.00 per day. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
