Site work, remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 23,800-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the remodel of a 10,250-square-foot educational facility.
The Work described is for a two story building and a separate garage. Refer to Section 01 23 00 for Contract descriptions. Base Bid: Entire 2nd Floor Renovations / Partial 1st Floor Renovations: The Project consists of second floor renovations (11,000 SF); first floor renovations (1,900 SF); attic fire protection (10,900 SF). Work includes, but is not limited to demolition, wood studs/drywall, interior window drywall returns, window sills, railing systems, new flooring, painting, wall coverings, suspended ceiling system; fire suppression system installation at base bid locations; plumbing, HVAC and required power, lighting and data revisions; coordination with owner's furniture vendor. (refer to A003 and A004) Alternate No. 1: Exterior Upgrades / Roofing / Exterior Utility Work / Partial 1st Floor Renovations: The Project consists of remodeling of approximately 10,250 SF of existing exterior surface area; 14,450 SF of roofing; Utility Upgrades; 8,800 SF of 1st Floor renovations. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition, new siding, exterior stone, aluminum windows, aluminum storefront systems, asphalt shingle roof replacement including new plywood deck, wood studs/drywall, interior window drywall returns, window sills, casework, new flooring, painting, wall coverings, suspended ceiling system, fire suppression water service and system installation, and required plumbing, HVAC, power, lighting and data revisions; coordination with owner's furniture vendor. Reroofing of separate garage. (refer to A003 and A004) Alternate No. 2: Exterior Canopies: The Project consists of both the main entrance canopy (1st Floor), student entrance canopy (2nd Floor) and light fixtures. Canopy construction is timber frame, steel tube truss and wood deck. (refer to A003 and A004) Alternate No. 3: Site Work: The Project consists of parking lot upgrades and site concrete work; asphalt removal, new asphalt parking, concrete sidewalk, storm water pipe to collect roof water, fire suppression service to within 5 feet of building, earthwork, site lighting remodel, curb and gutter, new transformer and service to building. (refer to A003 and A004) Lump-sum Bids will be received on a SINGLE PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ENTIRE WORK including plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
