Site work and paving for a civil project in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 13, 2021, the project has been awarded to Dresel Contracting Inc. for $975,985.95. In general, Work consists of the following quantities: 200 SY Mill Bituminous Pavement (2" Depth) 5,700 SY Remove Pavement 1,000 CY Common Excavation 1,000 CY Common Borrow 450 CY Rock Excavation 2,000 LF 12" to 24" RCP Storm Pipe 50 LF 24" HDPE Culvert 23 EA RCP Storm Structure 4,300 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter 5,700 TN Select Granular Borrow 3,000 TN Aggregate Base, Class 5 350 GAL Bituminous Material for Tack Coat 1,500 TN Bituminous Pavement Mixtures 1,100 CY Topsoil Borrow 1,200 LF Guard Rail Along with drain tile, restoration, signing, striping, traffic control, and other related appurtenances. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
