The work consists of ash tree removal and stump grinding, including cleanup and site restoration, for City owned ash trees located along City Boulevard right-of-ways and in City Parks. Trees to be removed are infested with Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) and will be marked with a green piece of flag tape tied around the trunk. The work includes removal of the trees, stumps, roots, debris, and restoration of the site with black dirt and quality premium grass seed. Contractors should review the itemized list for specific tree locations and details for each work item. The project also includes two additional alternate bid submission forms for additional ash tree removal and stump grinding work lists, which may be awarded at the City's discretion. Contractors are instructed to acquaint themselves with existing conditions at each location and be aware of any facilities, difficulties, and restrictions that may be encountered during the contract performance.
