The Work Under This Contract Consists of the Following: Roadway Improvements to Ne 76th Street From N. Oak Trafficway to N. Brooklyn Avenue and All Related Appurtenance. This project is funded by the Federal Surface Transportation Program. All Prime Contractors must be on MoDOT's Approved Contractor Listing 7 days prior to bid opening. DBE SubContractors must be on the MRCC DBE Directory prior to Bidding. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this appendices. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this Contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962", (P. L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. Pursuant to Section 292.675, RSMO, the Contractor shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for all on-site employees. The City of Gladstone hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit Bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
