**As of 4/29/2021 The Project was awarded to Marshall Brothers Construction & Engineering no award amount available. The contract duration will be 300 days from Notice to Proceed. This project includes the construction of a proposed master Lift Station #4 and site improvements including but not limited to 350 feet of 24-inch gravity sewer piping, associated manholes and approximately 450 feet of 12-inch forcemain and appurtenances. Additional work to include the installation of stormwater improvements as shown on drawings not limited to the installation of exfiltration, collection, and conveyance system as modifications or improvements to the existing site and drainage easement. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Panama City Beach ("City") reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 60 days after opening. The contract duration will be 300 days from Notice to Proceed. The liquidated damages will be $500 per day for every day beyond the contract duration. All bidders shall be State of Florida licensed general contractors or underground utility contractors. The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder. Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.
