Montana State University is seeking a Contractor for Alarm Monitoring services for Montana State University - Bozeman. At present, Montana State University has approximately 1265 alarms connecting to 102 panels in 77 buildings. These alarms include fire, intrusion, environmental and general system administration type alarms. Primary responsibilities of the Contractor shall be to: o Monitor existing alarms and respond in accordance with all applicable codes and terms of this Contract. o Install new alarm systems and add alarms to existing panels. o Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all alarm panels and alarm contacts other than fire alarms. o Provide fire alarm maintenance support to MSU Fire Technicians through on-call services when requested by MSU. o Provide access through web-based software and mobile applications for MSU staff to monitor all alarms and to control systems as appropriate. o Coordinate with Departments, MSU Work Control and University Services Contract staff to assure new panels and alarms points are added and billed properly.
