Renovation of a water / sewer project in Windham, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town Will Be Purchasing the Two Tanks, and the Galvanized Steel Stairway. Includes SBE/MBE Requirements - No Qualified Partnership - No The Proposed Work Consists of Installing Two 8,000 Gallon Above ground Concrete Encased Steel Tanks , Galvanized Steel Stairs, Piping, Constructing a Concrete Pad,installing Bollards and Associated Work, Etc. As Shown on the Construction Drawings. One Tank Will Be for Gasoline, the Second Will Be for Diesel Fuel for Municipal Vehicles. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in an Amount Equal to Five Percent of the Amount Bid. Bid Security Shall Be Made Payable to the Town of Windham and Shall Be Properly Executed by the Bidder. At the Time of Contract Signage, Separate 100 Percent Performance and 100 Percent Payment Bonds Will Be Provided to the Town of Windham. The Town of Windham Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities or to Reject Any and All of the Bids and to Award the Project in the Town's Opinion Its Best Interests Will Be Served.
