Renovation of a library in El Segundo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
High School Library Renovation Renovation of existing Library with new interior finishes, lighting, interior storefront, and modification to the existing Fire Suppression System Estimate: $1,200,000 with an Allowance Amount of $100,000 Prequalification of Bidders As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract , prospective bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District. These documents will be the basis for determining which bidders are qualified to bid on this Project. Prequalification requirements: Prime Contractor: All contractors with a B license that intends to bid as the General Contractor/ Prime Contractor directly to the District. First-tier Subcontractors: A contractor with a C-6, C-7, C-10, C-15, C-16, C-17 C-20, C-36 license(s) that intends to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to the prime contractor that is bidding directly to the District. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B license at the time of award and throughout the duration of this Contract. All Pre-Bid RFIs regarding the Bid documents shall be submitted via email by no later than Tuesday March 23rd 2021, by 4pm. There is no Project Labor Agreement on this job. Construction is expected to begin in May 2021 with project completion in August 2021. Contract to be awarded to one Prime Contractor.
