Project was awarded to Schultz Corporation in the amount of $579,055.48 The City of Bristol is seeking bids for sediment/materials removal and rehabilitation of sections of a water conduit for the Pequabuck River from School Street to Riverside Avenue The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business i the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates are to apply to th resultant contract award. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Bids must b firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the bid opening. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. DRS Guarantee Bond (for out-of-state contractors only); A nonresident contractor working in Connecticut and a surety company licensed to do business in Connecticut shall use Form AU-766 enclosed to post a guarantee bond with the Department of Revenue Services(DRS) for a specific project in the state
