The Board of Education desires to appoint a firm to provide environmental inspection and consulting services for the school year. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge and experience with respect to aspects of environmental consulting services required by a school board. Any experience or aknowledge of matters that directly affect the Board of Education should be addressed. Respondents must be certified to provide environmental inspection and consulting services in the State of New Jersey. Provide AHERA mandated inspections of school buildings that have been identified as requiring inspection (noted below). a. Middle School - square footage 96,947b. School #4 - square footage 56,501c. School #5 - square footage 52,691d. Preschool - square footage approx. 28,700This includes the collection of available data for review and a surveillance inspection at each site in accordance with AHERA requirements. An inspection report specifying location, quality and condition of known asbestos-containing materials, and required corrective action will be provided to the district.
