Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pasco, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and transportation facility.
**As of April 9,2021 This project has been awarded. The anticipated start date and completion date has not yet been established.** Port of Pasco, Big Pasco Intermodal Rail Construction, 411 and 416 Track Rehabilitation. This Contract provides for the improvement of a portion of Track 411 and the remaining portion of Track 416 at Port of Pasco including reconstructing track, turnouts, crossings and roadbed and other work as described in the Contract Documents. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Port of Pasco. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. Requires construction stormwater general permit transfer of coverage. The project shall be completed within 53 working days. Engineer's Estimate: $1,613,000.00 including WA State Sales Tax. Involves 21 Base bid items and 2 alternate items: 40 Day ESC Lead, 5990 CY Roadway Exc. Inc. Haul, 106 TN of HMA CL 1/2 In. PG64-28, 233 SY Const. Goetextile for Separation, 1194 CY Subballast, 2200 LF Gravel Trench Drain, 581 SY Asphalt Conc. Pavement Removal, 1 AC Seeding Fertilizing and Mulching, 4186 TF Remove Track, 4.7 EA Remove Turnout, 1 EA #9 Turnout, 2 Each #11 Turnouts, 2 EA Earthen Bumpers, 194 TF Rubber Interface Crossing, 488 LF Railroad Walkway, and (alternates) 4396 TF Concrete Tie Track or 4396 TF Wood Ties Track. Lump sum bids for Mobilization, Project Temp Traffic Control, SPCC Plan, Contactor Surveying, Erosion Control and Water Pollution Prevention. The Contracting Agency has established a DBE COA Goal for this Contract in the amount of 2% with zero training hours.
