The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the Moving Montrose Forward 2021 Pavement Maintenance Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following key task The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the Moving Montrose Forward 2021 Pavement Maintenance Project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks. A. Perform asphalt patching to include saw cutting or wheel rolling to a neat line, asphalt removal within patch areas, overexcavation and replacement of base soils where required, and asphalt replacement. B. Design and apply slurry seal surface treatment. C. Re-establish pavement markings. D. Implement stormwater management, traffic control (incl. traffic control plans), site security, site restoration, incidental surveying, and quality control testing as required to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The City of Montrose has appropriated $870,000 in streets funds for construction of the 2021 Moving Montrose Forward pavement maintenance project. The project will utilize all of the street funds, expanding or reducing the street scope of work as appropriate. Because of this set budget, the project does not include a contingency line; if the project is trending over the contract amount of $870k, the project scope will be reduced accordingly to keep it within budget.
