All questions must be received by Thursday, April 8, 2021 not later than 12:00 PM. Bids must be made on the proposal forms in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of bidder and proposal identification on the outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Burlington Township Board of Education for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the base bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. (g) The Affirmative Action Law and regulations, N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, et. seq. "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" became effective on April 11, 2000. A copy of the certificate must be included in the bid package. Bidders may withdraw bids any time prior to opening. If shipping of Bid Documents is required, bidders may provide their courier account number to New Road Construction Management or include a non-refundable $50.00 mailing fee. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any and/or all bids as may be deemed to be in its best interest as permitted by law.
