Bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing ten percent (10%) of the total price submitted, in the form of a certified check drawn on a Canadian chartered bank or a credit union made out in the name of the Town of East Angus or bank letter of guarantee or bond from an insurance company licensed as an insurer in Canada. The Town of East Angus does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received nor to incur any obligation or cost of any kind towards the tenderer (s) and reserves the right to override any minor irregularity. in the case of the lowest bid. award is subject to final approval.
