As of April 26,2021 the project has been awarded to Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC for an amount of $3,570,605.04. The anticipated start date is mid-May of 2021. Reconstruct bituminous roadway, install concrete curb & gutter, install permeable concrete block with rock storage layer, replace hydrants & gate valves, replace sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, and services, install perforated HDPE pipe with rock storage layer, RCP pipe, and storm sewer manholes & catch basin structures. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required and perform all operations in connection with the installation of P-ACB in accordance with the lines, grades, design, and dimensions shown on the contract drawings and as specified herein. This portion of the project shall consist of reconstructing the streets to city standards that meet a 7-ton design. Portions of Aldine Street, Hillview Road, and Lois Drive shall include the installation of permeable concrete block with a rock storage layer to store and infiltrate stormwater. Installation of a stormwater collection and infiltration system consisting of catch basin and manhole structures, underground piping, and underground perforated piping with a rock storage layer. The sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, and sanitary services within the right of way shall be replaced. Hydrants, leads, and associated valves, and all other valves shall also be replaced. The project is located at the intersection of County Road I and Aldine Street.
