Install approximately 150 meters of 88.5" (2,248mm) ID steel casing pipe under the existing Newton Reservoir by microtunnelling, including contact grouting; Design and construction of an approximately 12m x 12m launch shaft east of the existing reservoir and an approximately 5m x 3m retrieval shaft west of the existing reservoir, both approximately 12m deep below the existing ground; Install twin 36" (914mm) OD welded steel reservoir outlet pipes within the casing pipe.
