Site work for a water / sewer project in Surprise, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Maricopa County (County) is conducting this invitation for SEALED BIDS for the work described herein to include construction of five miles of earthen channel improvements. The Project will provide an improved outlet for McMicken Dam and improved 100-year protection to an area of the City of Surprise and unincorporated County between Grand Avenue and the El Mirage Road alignment, south of Happy Valley Road. See solicitation documents for details. Contractor shall commence work within 10 business days after the Notice To Proceed has been issued. All work on this contract is to be completed within 510 calendar days beginning with the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, beyond which time liquidated damages may be enforced. An additional 90 calendar days is provided at the end of the major construction activities solely for the plant maintenance and establishment period. The total contract duration will be 510 calendar days.
