Project overview: Primary objective: Cyclical tree pruning to enhance tree structure and health, reduce risk of hazards and failures, provide clearance as needed, and improve aesthetics throughout general use areas. Additional tree trimming projects may be added or projects removed according to approved funding. All trees within fine mowed areas and pastures will be required to be trimmed. Anticipated preserves to be trimmed for the first year are as follows: St James Farm, Wheaton, includes 394 trees totaling 9,568" D.B.H. Salt Creek Park, Wood Dale, includes 165 trees totaling 3,884" D.B.H. Pratts Wayne Woods, Wayne, includes 264 trees totaling 5,589" D.B.H. York Woods, Oak Brook, includes 80 trees totaling 1,439" D.B.H. Questions shall be directed to Mike Wiseman at mwiseman@dupageforest.org All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. No late bids will be accepted. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
