The Project includes a Base Bid and an Additive Bid. The Base Bid is generally described as a 2" asphalt overlay of the 4,999' x 100' Runway 18-36 with associated crack repair/single surface treatment. Additional work includes 5' x 100' of runway pavement extension, airfield lighting improvements, new asphalt blast pads, pavement demolition, and minor grading and drainage improvements. Additive Bid No. 1 involves taxiway rehabilitation/reconstruction at multiple connector taxiways' intersection with Runway 18-36. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, made payable to the Perry-Houston County Airport Authority, equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days. A Notice-of-Award for the Contract will be issued once a successful bidder has been determined and funding has been secured.
