As of April 8, 2022, construction is underway. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Ohio Department of Transportation is planning to renovate two existing Outpost facilities in Belpre (Washington County) and Eaton (Preble County). Architectural/Engineering services are required for design, permitting, construction administration and other services as described in this RFQ. This project will utilize General Contracting delivery methods for construction contracts. ODOT will require limited access to these sites for operational needs during construction. These projects will be designed and managed as individual projects. The new facilities are intended to be very similar on each site and will consist of the following: DOT-200024 Belpre Outpost - 399 OH-618 Little Hocking, Ohio 45742 DOT-200023 Eaton Outpost - 5656 US-127 Eaton, Ohio 45320 The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
