Renovation of an educational facility in Racine, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of June 29, 2021, Project was cancelled. No definite date yet for rebid. Contractor shall provide materials and labor for the modernization of two elevators at Community Pathways Center CPC) located at 2333 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI 53404. Elevator #1 is locatedin the Racine Alternative Learning (RAL) entry, and #2 elevator is located at entrance 1. Elevator 1 has three stops and access to two sides of the car. This elevator has the equipment in a closet that is no longer code. Contractor shall construct an equipment room that meets all state andlocal codes. The attached drawing shows the optimal location for a new mechanical room.Elevator 2 has three stops and access to only side is needed. The elevator equipment room seems to be suitable even for today's codes. Contractor to provide dumpster, daily cleanup of work area, safety equipment as needed, safetysignage and materials as needed. All contractors to wear gear from the company they are working for, so they can be identified easily and wear and badge with picture and full name located on themselves. A site visit will be required to determine logistics of site and all sizes and dimensions needed to assemble a full quote.
