Site work and paving for a road / highway in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Description of Work: Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision and perform all work necessary for and incidental to the construction of the project known as the THREE CITY PAVEMENT PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT. The work includes but is not limited to: Asphalt Grinding Roadway reconstruction, Rubberized hot mix asphalt (RHMA) overlay (2" & 4") including asphalt grinding Three layer pavement system (type III microsurfacing over rubberized chip seal over type II microsurfacing), Two layer pavement system (type III microsurfacing over rubberized chip seal), Base repair (RMA) Type III microsurfacing, Crack-sealing Adjusting iron to grade Providing traffic control, stormwater protection, and striping on existing streets within the cities of Martinez, Clayton, and Pittsburg. The Base Bid work is to be completed in 80 working days. A certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will fulfill the terms of the bid. The City of Martinez reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals or bids or portions thereof.The City of Martinez reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept only a portion of certain items of the bid or to waive any informality in the bid.
