Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The Project consists of plumbing and architectural alterations for the sole purpose of making the Frackville Senior Center located at 130 Frack Street, Frackville facility more accessible. Alterations include moving stud wall partitions in both the men's and women's restrooms to accommodate ADA clear spaces at the restroom doors, relocating toilets and urinals and replacing the toilet partitions to accommodate ADA clear spaces at fixtures, new ADA compliant vanities and fixtures, new aluminum entry doors and ADA compliant hardware, and new interior finishes in areas that are disturbed by the primary work. All work is within the Borough of Frackville, Schuylkill County. Frackville Senior Center, 130 Frack Street, Frackville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, or certified check or cashiers check, payable to County of Schuylkill, in the amount of not less than ten percent of the total amount bid. The County reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. Bidders Are Required to Submit Original & Two (2) Copies of the Bid Proposal. Project Name, Frackville Senior Center Improvements Project Rebid, Should Be Clearly Marked on Outside Envelope. Bids Must Be Hardcopy. Prevailing Wages Established Under the Davis-bacon Act Will Apply to This Contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority, women and Section 3 business enterprises that have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid (Form DCED-CCD-286) Failure to submit this form will render the bid non-responsive and therefore result in rejection of the bid.
