As of 05/07/2021 Awarded with $1,021,900 including alternate #2. As of 04/21/2021 Start date will be as soon as possible after execution and signature of the construction contract. Completion will be 32 weeks after start date barring weather, material availability and other natural disruptions. On behalf of Door County, The Samuels Group Inc. is requesting bids for the construction and remodel of the Washington Island County Government Center - Washington Island, WI. The Samuels Group Inc. is the Architect of record for Door County. The subcontractors or suppliers for the project will be contracted through The Samuels Group Inc. The project consists of one building: A new 1,600 square foot single story building "ambulance garage" attached to the former Washington Island Dairy located on the corner of Range Line and Townline Road on Washington Island. In addition, there is approximately 2,400 square feet of interior remodeling and reconstruction to provide sleeping quarters and offices to administer various government services. There is also a new exterior steel stair for the existing second floor. The Samuels Group Inc. is the Architect of Record.
