The existing asphaltic pavement is exhibiting signs of deterioration in the form of alligator cracking, rutting, longitudinal and transverse cracking. This Perpetuation project will resurface approximately 1.22 miles of USH 2 in Florence County between Pewabic Street and CTH NN. The project will mill and overlay 2-4 inches of asphaltic pavement, Curb Ramps will be review and upgraded if warranted, spot areas of curb and gutter will be replaced, and parking lanes may be resurfaced. Anticipated Construction Cost : $750,000-$999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
