The Town of Gravenhurst would like to create a new, larger playground that incorporates inclusive and accessible features that provide a high level of play options to a wide variety of users of differing ages and abilities. The bidder acknowledges and agrees to supply all necessary labour, materials, equipment, preparation and supervision to complete this contract, as per all terms, conditions and specifications set forth herein. All services and products provided under this Contract shall comply with all applicable Municipal, Provincial and Federal authorities and legislation. All received submissions substantially exceeded the approved budget for this project. As a result, we will need to review our specifications in greater detail and possibly consider splitting the project into multiple phases in order to proceed any further with this scanning project. As indicated in "Section 11.3.b.ii. Evaluation of the Proposals - Award" of the Bid Document, "The Town of Gravenhurst reserves the right to ... Refrain from making an Award if it determines that to be in its best interest".
