The Wood County Commission reserves the right to shortlist and interview firms from the submitted qualifications or to select the most qualified firm and begin contract negotiations. No fee estimate is required at this time. The Wood County Commission will evaluate statements of qualifications submitted and select and rank professional design firm candidates. The Wood County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all statements of qualifications and to waive any informality, irregularity, or failure to conform to the instructions contained in this RFQ The Wood County Commission is issuing a Request for Qualifications for Planning, Architectural, and Engineering Services to complete the planning and design for a new Wood County Multi-Purpose Building and Emergency Shelter. The proposed facility will be located on 2nd Street in Downtown Parkersburg in the general vicinity of the former Wood County Jail. The facility may include the following functions: * Meeting/Gathering Space for 400 (Emergency Shelter) * Adjacent Toilet and Shower Facilities * Commercial Kitchen * Wood County Maintenance Office * Drive-Thru Vehicle Maintenance Bays * 911 Center * Storage The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
