For Roof, Downspout and Gutter Repairs Roof, Downspout and Gutter repairs: Replace missing slate tiles. Clean, repair/replace gutters and gutter supports and adhere new flashing. Repair/replace downspouts and supports. Prevailing wage will apply Replace missing slate, re-secure loose gutters, cleaning of all gutters requiring repair, prime and adhere new flashing, caulk cut edges of gutters, install new downspouts with elbows where missing, and install new aluminum bar gutter supports where missing. Once gutters are fully cleaned for areas of repair, the preferred method of repairing seams will be soldering using irons instead of torches, patching any holes with copper and soldering patches in place using soldering irons. Any other method must be approved by Facilities Department. Repair or replace gutter brackets as needed. Repair outlets if necessary. All gutter repairs or replacements will be performed in accordance to U. S. Department of Interior Historical Preservation Standards. The amount of patching and seam repairs on gutters has been estimated on the drawings for the base bid. We have identified the known leaks. In addition to the base bid, the contractor shall provide a repair cost per linear foot in the event that additional gutters are identified as needing repair. Fully inspect each down spout and repair any and all fasteners. Check and repair all connections as needed. Replace any and all missing sections or damaged sections which would interfere with the general operation of providing good drainage. We have identified the known downspout repairs needed. In addition to the base bid, the contractor shall provide a repair cost per linear foot for each downspout type in the event that additional downspout repairs are identified as needing repair. If additional work is identified above and beyond the scope, a price will be provided utilizing your cost per square foot cost Fully inspect each roof section and remove any broken slate and or missing slate. If additional work is identified above and beyond the scope, a price will be provided utilizing your cost per square foot cost provided on the bid pricing sheet.
