BID SECURITY: Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Proposal. PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR Bond required - the successful contractor shall AND MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND provide a Performance Bond & Labor & Material Payment Bond. CONSIDERATION OF BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid which, in the Owner's judgment, is in the Owner's best interests. SUBSTITUTION REQUESTS AND QUESTIONS No requests for substitution or clarification questions will be answered after Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at 4:00 PM Local Time. All requests for substitution or questions shall be directed to Mr. Pratt via e-mail at curtpratt@bettendorf.k12.ia.us. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: All products and materials utilized in this project are exempt from Iowa sales tax and local option sales tax. Work required by the proposed contract shall begin upon issuance of the NOTICE TO PROCEED.
