Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work shall consist of rehabilitating the 25 foot diameter steel cover which shall include blasting and coating the top, sides, and bottom of the cover and providing new gaskets. The cover has been removed by the City and is sitting on cribs next to the digester. Work shall also consist of demolishing concrete corbel extensions and converting the digester cover to a floating cover. Contractor shall install Owner provided new roller assemblies, spring shoes, guides, and drain sumps. Work shall also consist of cleaning, blasting and coating the digester interior, demolishing and providing new sludge and biogas piping, saw cutting and demolishing concrete cap and providing a new cap and repairing brick. Work shall also consist of re-installing and pressure testing rehabilitated digester cover and other items described in the Bidding Documents for the Digester Cover/Rehabilitation Project complete and operational for the City of Waupaca, Waupaca County, Wisconsin
