Site work for a mixed-use development in King City, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The Project consists of enabling works along the Barrie Rail Corridor to accommodate the planned expansion of the GO Transit rail services. Such works include, without limitation: (a) grading, raceways, drainage, railway embankments, replacement of retaining walls and construction of noise barriers, utility relocations and connections, and construction of second track and new platform, each along Miles 16.85 -18.64 of the Newmarket Subdivision, (b) station upgrades and infrastructure improvements at Maple GO Station, (c) improvements pertaining to tunnel connection between Eagle Rock Way bus loop and Maple GO Station, and (d) construction of overhead pedestrian bridge across Major Mackenzie Drive. Documents can be obtained at: https://www.metrolinx.merx.com * As of March 25, 2022, the submissions are still under review with the owner. For all procurements an award notice is posted on the Metrolinx MERX Portal after Contract Execution.
