The Region is inviting Bids from the prequalified bidders for the the Nobleton Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades, as further described in Section A of the RFTC Particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables). The Works include, but are not limited to, expansion of the Nobleton Sewage Pumping Station to provide a rated pumping capacity of 145 L/s (12,528 m3/d), including a new 1,300 m3 flow equalization tank with an integrated submersible pumping station capable of meeting the sites rate capacity, two sewage grinders in the inlet channels, and a new forcemain valve chamber. Upgrades to the existing pumping station consist of conversion of the existing drywell pumping station into a wetwell submersible pumping station with all new process pumps, piping and valves as well as structural modifications to support the upgraded design. Upgrades within the existing pumping station extend to all building mechanical and electrical services. The Upgrades will require a 40m2 building expansion to house new electrical and controls assets. The Upgraded facility will require a new primary transformer and a new 500 kW standby power generator and 48 hours of fuel storage in a walk-in enclosure.
