The City of Lincoln will have a water main in the project area as designed per project number 803407. A sanitary sewer line crosses Holdrege Street east of N 104th Street. All work within this area which may impact public water facilities will require coordination with the City of Lincoln Water System, City of Lincoln Wastewater System, and the City's Project Manager to minimize impact to daily activities. The Contractor shall have a total of 135 consecutive calendar days from the Beginning of Work date to achieve final completion of this project. Contractor may elect to pothole utilities between Notice to Proceed and Beginning of Work without charges of calendar days. The project shall be substantially complete by November 1, 2021. Seeding shall occur per Chapter 30 of the City of Lincoln Standard Specifications. Substantial completion shall be defined as all roadway construction being complete and all lanes open to traffic, storm sewer construction complete, all sidewalk/bike path construction complete, all temporary construction signs and barricades removed, all permanent pavement marking and signing complete, all roadway lighting complete and operational, and final grading complete. Final completion of all work including final site clean-up, establishment and acceptance of seeded areas shall be completed by November 24, 2021. Determination of Substantial Completion and Final Completion shall be subject to the City's Project Manager's approval. Failure to meet these dates shall result in liquidated damages to be assessed per the Standard Specifications. The Contractor may begin tree removal on properties where the City has obtained the necessary easements or rights of entry prior to the Beginning of Work date upon approval of the City's Project Manager.
