The Lincoln Electric System Procurement Department reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids or to waive any defects in any bid. The scope of work shall consist of designing, detailing, manufacturing, and delivering steel pole structures. These specifica>ons are intended to establish design condi>ons and to describe the type, general construc>on, and specific features of the steel structures specified herein. Structures shall be of the general configura>on and design characteris>cs as that shown on LES structure standard drawing included with the bid documents. To be included are all structural framing members such as poles, anchor bolt cages, arms, braces, and all associated hardware items. Not to be included are pier founda>ons, insulators, or any conductor support hardware. The details shown on the LES structure standard drawing are inten>onally generalized to allow the manufacturer to u>lize their standard methods and details while mee>ng the LES structural and dimensional requirements. In the event there is any ques>on as to assembly, design or material specifica>ons during the bidding process, Bidders shall submit their ques>on online through the LES Procurement Portal.
