The purpose of this bid is to solicit bids from interested and qualified firms to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to rehabilitate two-hundred (200) sanitary sewer manholes per the Technical Specifications and Condition Assessment Summary provided as Exhibit "A" The work shall include manhole rehabilitation services for sanitary sewer manholes including, but not be limited to, bench repair, cast iron frame and/or cover replacement, adjustment of manhole frame and cover height (adjustment rings), cleaning, surface preparation, liner application and all associated restoration. The interior protective coating system shall include all the necessary materials, equipment and tools as required for a completed installation. The completed system shall provide a waterproof, corrosion resistant liner to prevent any deterioration of concrete surfaces from hydrogen sulfide and other corrosive gases/acids within the sanitary sewer system and prevent infiltration. The bid documents include the technical specifications and any forthcoming bid addenda. Any and all questions related to this solicitation shall be directed, in writing, to the County's Designated Point of Contact: Mr. David Pyle, CPPB, Procurement Coordinator, SJC Purchasing Division via email to dpyle@sjcfl.us. Questions are due no later than four o'clock (4:00PM) on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, so that any necessary addenda may be issued in a timely manner. Any questions received after the deadline will not be answered unless previously approved by the SJC Purchasing Manager or other designated County Representative. In the event the Designated Point of Contact is absent or otherwise unavailable for more than three (3) business days, bidders may contact Leigh A.
