Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,988-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and educational facility.
The approximate quantities of Work to be Bid upon are as described as follows: Construction of a new Press Box and an addition to the existing weight room at the Bridgeport High School Football Field. The Work will be substantially completed by August 10, 2021 and completed and ready for final payment within 10 days after the date of Substantial Completion. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per calendar day. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Harrison County Board of Education, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base Bid. Bidders must hold a current West Virginia general contractor's license on the date of Bid Opening. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. Harrison County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Bids Cut off for questions is Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 4:00 PM.
