Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Warren, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of constructing a 0.5 MGD water treatment plant (WTP) for iron and manganese removal in groundwater from the existing Drinking Water Wells 1311000-02G (Well 1) and 1311000-03G (Well 2) located at the southerly end of Comins Pond Road (250 Comins Pond Road). The treatment equipment will be housed in a pre-engineered metal building. The major equipment will include pressure filters with Greensand Plus media, two well pumps, backwash supply and backwash waste pumps, chemical feed equipment, a generator, backwash supply holding tank, backwash waste holding tank, and associated equipment and controls. The project will also include site civil components. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. **General Bid Date and time (05/13/2021 at 2:00 PM ET) in GC project Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
