Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The work under this contract includes an airfield lighting vault with associated site and utility work The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to install: One (1) concrete block (CMU, vapor barrier and insulation, and veneer block construction) airfield lighting vault building (approximately 70 ft x 100 ft; 7000 sq. ft) Approximately 30 ft wide bituminous apron surrounding building Approximately 20 ft wide vehicle service roads Site excavation, site work grading, and storm water remediation as required Underground duct back conduits with counterpoise and associated manholes/handholes for incoming power, fiber optic communication, airfield lighting circuitry, and outgoing power to the 28 De-Ice Pad. Cabling and fittings/connectors as required to connect power and airfield circuits Copper and fiber optics cabling to connect the communications loop through the airfield. Standby generator with internal day tank and external fuel tank with piping, fittings, and pumps, as required. 480 V power distribution equipment and associated hardware Cable trays, conduits, cabling, and fittings/connectors as required interior to the ALV. Switchgear style constant current regulators and Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System upgrades as required Building automation, fire protection, telecommunications, and security systems with associated hardware as required. Two (2) 15kV external switches with foundations Two (2) 1500kVA utility step down transformers with foundations The Bid, if over $100,000.00, must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in the name of the "State of Maryland". Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidders. DBE Subcontractor Participation Goals. For the purposes of this Contract, a minimum overall DBE subcontractor participation goal of twenty percent (20%) of the total Contract dollar amount of the Contractor's bid for this Contract has been established.
