The general description of work to be performed under this contract shall include, but is not limited to, selective site demolition including protection of majority of existing trees to remain; excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soils from a portion of the site not previously remediated; installation and alteration of drainage systems and utilities; installation of pavements, site furnishings, and fixtures including required electrical systems; substantial planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, and lawn areas; and construction of raised intersection and crosswalks in roadway. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before 7 days following the date set forth in the written "Notice to Proceed" to the Owner. The work shall be completed by May 1, 2022. general description of the work to be performed under this contract shall include but will not be limited to the following construction operations: 1. Site demolition including the removal of trees site pavements, pavement subbase and other site features as shown on the drawings 2. Installation of additional construction fence and maintenance of existing and additional fence during the duration of the project 3. The installation and alteration of drainage systems and utilities. 4. The excavation of contaminated soils and off-site disposal that not previously remediated 5. The installation of pavements including but not limited to concrete, decomposed granite paving, porous flexible paving around existing trees and tactile pavers at ADA curb ramp. 6. The installation of custom timber platform 7. The installation of custom precast concrete seat wall 8. Placement of movable table and chairs 9. The installation of Site furniture including code blue emergency box, ADA drinking fountain, compacted trash receptacle and bike racks. 10. The installation park signage including (1) identification sign, (1) regulation sign, (2) dog regulatory sign and (1) bulletin board. 11.
