**As of March 24, 2022, project was awarded to Franco's Liberty Bridge, Inc. but awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Vienna is accepting bids for the construction of the Proposed Freeman Store Pedestrian Bridge Connector to the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Regional Trail project located at 131 Church Street NE. The scope of this project is to provide general contraction services that include, but are not limited to, establishing a trail detour, erosion and sediment controls, partial existing structure demolition, concrete and timber bridge substructures, steel and timber bridge superstructures, trail pavement reconstruction, pavement markings and signage, and minor modifications to the historic Freeman Store and Museum building for bridge structure attachment. Bids must arrive on or before the time and date as stated. No bid will be accepted after the above-specified time for the due date of bids. Bids that arrive late due to the fault of, included but not limited to, the U. S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, DHL, FEDEX, any delivery/courier service, any other carrier, as well as any electronic means, are still considered late and shall not be accepted by the Town. Such bids shall remain unopened and will be returned to the submitting entity upon request.
