The contract consists of two types of roadway repair and the replacement of culverts located on Rang de la Presqu'île and Chemin du Roy in L'Assomption and briefly describes the following: 1. Replacement of culverts 2. Excavation and construction transition 3. Installation of the pavement structure in line with the culverts and at the places where there is complete reconstruction of the pavement 4. Spraying of the pavement at the indicated places 5. Laying of asphalt 6. Surface repair 7. Pavement marking 8. Reconstruction of retaining devices 9. Excavation and cleaning of ditches 10. End protection (stonework) As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract. REQUIREMENTS Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, a bank draft, an irrevocable guarantee or a bid bond issued in favor of the City of L'Assomption in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%). the total of the tender, after taxes, as well as a letter of commitment to provide the performance guarantee within fifteen (15) days of the notice of award. Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer's license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers and authorizing it to practice the activity of guarantee within the meaning of the Insurance Act and in accordance with standard form NO 1809- 900 / H will be accepted at the end of the tender documents. This bond must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date on which the tenders are opened. The award of the contract is conditional on the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing MAMH approving the loan by-law for the financing of this work as well as obtaining a road permit issued by the Ministry. of Transports du Québec. The city may, however, at its discretion, proceed by adjudication conditional on the approval of the loan by-law. Only bids submitted by a supplier having an establishment in Quebec or having an establishment in a province covered by an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement applicable to the City, will be considered.
