Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Coronado, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

Per the owner, as of February 9, 2022, an award has made for this solicitation. The owner states that they do not have construction start date as the drawings have not been summitted to the Division of State Architect and the building permit approval process timeline is not known. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. Submit all questions and requests for clarification in writing to procurement@coronado.ca.us by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The City of Coronado is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for an audiovisual system upgrade for the City of Coronado Performing Arts Center Theater at 650 D Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118. The City has budgeted a maximum of $220,000 total for the design and construction of this project. An additional $80,000 (for wireless microphones only) will be provided by the Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) for a total project budget of $300,000. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the specifications or RFP process, or to cancel in whole or in part the Request for Proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
