The mission of the City's Emergency Groundwater Supply Program is to develop emergency water supplies to mitigate potential service interruptions from Sonoma Water. One approach to developing emergency water supplies includes redeveloping existing unused or underutilized wells to provide reliable potable water during service interruptions. The City's existing Leete Well (3601 Leete Ave), constructed in 1953, served as an emergency groundwater source until 2011 when it was taken offline due to excessive sand and gravel intrusion. Following the removal of pumping equipment, the well was inspected via CCTV where a separation of the casing was observed. At the time, the City's focus was on developing new water sources and thus further evaluations or use of the Leete Well ceased. Now, the City would like to resume efforts to redevelop the Leete Well as part of the Emergency Groundwater Supply Program. Accordingly, the purpose of this project is to evaluate alternatives for repairing the Leete Well casing and redeveloping the facility with new pumping equipment, disinfection system, and other required ancillary electrical and mechanical equipment. The selected consultant shall provide professional services in three (3) phases, proposed as follows: Construction Phase: Oct 2022 - Nov 2023
